Merry and Bright - Christmas Cards All Year Round

Hello, everyone! Happy (almost) August 1st to you! I can't believe it is August 1st. The new school year will be starting in just a couple of weeks and I'm not sure I am ready to be getting back into that routine just yet.

With it being the first of the month we have a new challenge posted at Christmas Cards All Year Round today. Our challenge for August is "Yellow" - use a little or a lot, just have some yellow on your project.

When I saw what this month's challenge was, I knew that it was time to break into my old Scenic Route - Garland - papers. It has yellow throughout the collection and it has been collecting dust on my paper rack for far too long! The sentiment is a stamp from Fancy Pants' - Merry and Bright - stamp set.

Since I made this card in July - it counts toward my July goal to make 15 Christmas cards. Sadly, I only made it to 10, but hey, I made more than I normally would have! I will just continue to make a Christmas card every chance I get!

Be sure to stop by Christmas Cards All Year Round to see how much yellow the rest of the design team has used on their projects.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I will be back soon with another project to share with you

Christmas Card Challenges #18

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Lasting Memories reveal, please scroll down or go here.

We have a new challenge up at Christmas Card Challenges today. Our only rule is to make a Christmas/Holiday card, but we do offer an optional challenge if you need a little inspiration. This week's challenge is a photo inspiration challenge:

Since I love snowmen - this challenge was an easy one! I used a pre-colored image from Imagine That! by Kris called Snowman Trio. Pre-colored images are a great way to make a super cute, super quick card! The papers that I used are from Crate Paper's - Bundled Up - 6x6 paper pad. The colors in the papers were a perfect match to the colors in the digi stamp.

Head on over to Christmas Card Challenges to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. I hope you get a chance to play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day

Lasting Memories #355 - On The Farm

Hello, scrappy friends! Good Sunday morning to you! I hope you are having a good weekend. We finally got a break from the heat and are enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend!

We have a new theme and a new challenge up at Lasting Memories today. Our theme for August is "All About Animals" and our first challenge is - On The Farm! Include a farm animal (cow, horse, pig, chicken, sheep, etc.) on your layout. This can be in your photos, in your patterned paper, or in the embellishments.

You would have thought that with my in-laws living on a farm for most of the time that my kids were little that I would have a ton of farm animal photos - but no, I had to find one from a trip to the pumpkin patch!

Shane's preschool class took a trip to the pumpkin patch at a local farm. While they were there they got the chance to see some of the farm animals and Shane loved this little calf!

For this layout, I have used Bella Blvd's "Barnyard" 6x8 paper pad and embellishment pack. It was perfect for this photo. I just love all the little animals in the embellishment pack. They are just too darn cute!

Head on over to Lasting Memories to see the fun - on the farm - layouts from the rest of the design team. We hope to see you playing along with us this month!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be back soon with another project to share with you today!

Christmas Card #8 With Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #222

Hello, everyone! Happy Tuesday to you! I hope that your week is off to a good start. We are still having some really hot and dry weather around here. We haven't had to mow in almost two weeks and the grass is turning brown quickly. Even one of our maple trees is starting to lose its leaves...I do hope we get some rain before too much longer.

I am back today with another Christmas card to share with you using this week's sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Once again I have used Doodlebug Designs' - Here Comes Santa Claus - 6x6 paper pad for my card. The little Santa on this paper just makes me happy! The sentiment is one of my favorites and is from an old Studio G $1 bin stamp set.

I have made it to card #8 in my goal to make 15 cards in July. I'll be cutting it close, but I do believe that I will make my goal and have a good stash of Christmas cards ready for this holiday season.

We will have the full design team reveals tomorrow on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog, along with last week's Top 3, so be sure to stop by and check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day and keep cool!

Lasting Memories #354 - Fun On The Fourth...

Hello, hello! Good Sunday morning to you! I hope you are having a good weekend. We have been spending lots of time in the pool on these hot days and I am happy to say that Miss Ada has learned to swim! It is an amazing thing to see someone so little just take off swimming! She spent quite a bit of time on Friday jumping off the deck into the pool and swimming around a bit before she climbed up the ladder and did it all again! She is a natural at it, that is for sure!

We have a new challenge posted today at Lasting Memories. This is our last challenge of the month - can you believe that July is almost over?! Our theme for July has been - Summer Adventures - and this week our challenge is to go on a scrappy adventure - document a layout in a size you don't normally use. Show us that mini album, traveler's notebook, custom pocket page, etc.

I have scrapped a layout of Miss Ada in 6x8. I am working on her 6x8 album, but have only done pocket style pages, so this is my first actual 6x8 layout. I gotta say - it's a little hard to get used to this size and I'm used to a nice square, so the rectangular shape is a little tricky, but I know I'll get the hang of it before long!

I've been working on pages for Ada's 6x8 album from the Fourth of July 2016. I've made several cards for it already and I have a couple more to make, but I'm hoping to share them all by the end of the month.

I've used Little Yellow Bicycle's - Just Because - 6x6 paper pad for all of her cards/pages. The colors are perfect and the patterns are cute!

Head on over to Lasting Memories to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the design team. If you get the chance, why don't you play along? Try out that size that you've always wanted to try and see how you like it!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!

Sketch N Scrap's Sizzlin' Summer Crop Challenge #3

Hello, scrappy friends! Good Saturday morning to you!

I am back with a layout that I made for today's challenge at Sketch N Scrap's - Sizzlin' Summer Crop. I got to pick the sketch for this challenge - which is always fun! Here is the sketch that I picked:

I have used Echo Park's - Summer Dreams - collection for my layout. The pretty, summery colors were perfect for these photos of Ada and the neighbor's dog. There are so many funny stories that I have to tell about this little dog...I know she will be getting a layout all about her - and she isn't even our dog!

Long story short - she lived across the road from us for many years. We didn't even know her name, but Scott thought he had heard her owner call her Trixie, or Dixie, or Pixie, so we just called her "Ixie" - and she would come to us whenever we called her that! We always said that she was Willie's girlfriend because she would come over and they would play all the time. She could run circles around Willie and they truly were the best of friends. Early this year, one of her owners passed away and "Ixie" pretty much lived at our house. She was here from the time we got up and didn't go home until it was dark. Early summer her owner sold her house and moved. When her daughter came to get "Ixie" to take her home we found out her name was really Daisy! I don't know where Scott heard anything close to "Ixie", but to us that is all she will ever be!

Okay, so that wasn't really a short story, but now you know why I think she needs a layout in our album! She was always so good with Ada and loved any kind of "loves" that she could get!

Be sure to check out the Sizzlin Summer Crop. You have until August 2nd to play along with us, and remember, you have to join the crop in order to be eligible for the prize.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Sketch N Scrap's Sizzlin' Summer Crop Challenge #2

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday to you! I hope that you have had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. It's going to be another hot one around here, but we do have rain and a little cool down (if you can call 88 cool!) by the end of the weekend. I do hope we get some rain - our poor yard is turning brown quickly!

Sketch N Scrap's Sizzlin' Summer Crop is in full swing over on our Facebook events page. We've posted two challenges so far and the third will be posted tomorrow. The second challenge was a card sketch challenge:

Here is the card that I created for this challenge:

This is one of my favorite card sketches and I always enjoy when a get another chance to use a favorite.

For this card, I have used Fancy Pants' - Wish Season -  6x6 paper pad. I just love the non-traditional colors in this collection and the papers are just too cute! The sentiment is the Merry & Bright (M1155) stamp from Close To My Heart. I stamped it using Close To My Heart's Juniper ink - it was a perfect match to the greens in this collection. The cute little tree is from the ephemera pack.

I have made it to Christmas card #7. Just 8 more to go to meet my goal of 15 Christmas cards this month! Surely I can make 8 more cards in 11 days!

Why don't you come join the fun with us at our Sizzlin' Summer Crop? We would love to see what you create. You have until August 2nd to add your projects to the challenges, so there's still lots of time to play along!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!

Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #102

Hello, everyone! Good Thursday morning to you!

Sketch N Scrap has posted the second card challenge of the month today! Lisa has created another great sketch for us to work with and I can't wait to see what you create with it!

I have created another Christmas card using this fun sketch. This is card #6 for my 15 Christmas cards in July goal. Slowly but surely I will get there!

I have used some old Doodlebug stickers on this card. I think the year on the sticker sheet was 2004...yeah, they've been hanging out in my stash, collecting dust, for long enough! I added each of the sticker circles to a scalloped circle and added foam tape under each one. The sentiment is from an old Studio G $1 bin stamp set. I even remembered to pull out one of my border punches to use on this card! It feels good to show some of my older stuff some love!

Head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see the beautiful creations from the rest of the design team. You have until July 31st to enter any of our challenges for this month for a chance at a fun prize!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!

Sketches In Thyme PL Style Sketch #79

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Paper Play Sketches reveal, please scroll down or go here.

Today I am up on the Sketches In Thyme PL Style blog with my take on sketch #79. Sketch #79 is courtesy of my good friend, Lisa, and I couldn't wait to play along with it!

I am still working on some patriotic cards for Ada's 6x8 album. I am hopeful that after next week's sketch I will have all of the pages done so you can see how all of the cards go together!

This sketch makes a great filler card, but I do think it would make a great photo card, too. Just scale down the banners and the circle embellishment...maybe you will see what I mean with next week's reveal...

I am still using Little Yellow Bicycle's - Just Because - 6x6 paper pad for these cards. The word stickers on this card are from Bella Blvd's - All American - sticker sheet. It's a little hard to tell in the photo, but both of the bigger stars have foam tape underneath them to give them a little dimension.

Be sure to stop by Sketches In Thyme PL Style for inspiration throughout the month!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope that you have a great day!

Paper Play Sketches #47

Hello and Happy Wednesday to you! It's the middle of the week and it'll be the weekend before we know it!

The middle of the week means we have a new challenge up at Paper Play Sketches and this week we have a sketch challenge for you:

I am continuing to try to get a total of 15 Christmas cards made in July. This makes #5...I think I'd better get with it or I may just wind up being lucky to get 10 made! I will keep at it!

I love this basic sketch. Sometimes that is all that you need to get started creating! I used Doodlebug's - Here Comes Santa Claus - 6x6 paper pad for this card. The papers in this pad are so cute that you don't have to add a lot of extra things to it!

Head on over to Paper Play Sketches to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. I hope you find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a great day!

Hello Adventure - Sketches In Thyme #285

Hello, everyone! Good Tuesday morning to you! I hope if it's hot where you are that you are finding a fun way to keep cool. We're going to be back in the mid 90's today, so there will be lots of staying inside in the air conditioning or swimming in the pool. I don't know if my youngest son can go a day without getting in the pool, at least for a little while!

Today is the day that I am featured over on the Sketches In Thyme blog with my take on sketch #285, courtesy of Bev Code. This is a great sketch featuring both a vertical and horizontal photo on it. Those types of sketches are hard to find!

When I saw this sketch I knew I wanted to use these photos of Scott and Ada since they were in the orientation that was needed. I used the "Some Kinda Wonderful" collection from Close To My Heart on this layout. The blues in the paper were a perfect match for Scott's shirt, and it has black and green in it as well. I wanted to add just a pop of pink since it was on some of the embellishments, and every Ada layout needs just a little bit of pink on it somewhere!

To be honest, I wasn't going to leave the pink (love this) sticker on the photo, but once it even remotely touched the photo it was not coming back up without a fight - and a ripped photo - so we went with it!

Instead of adding an actual banner to the top left corner, I added a few banner pieces - just my preference!

I love the way that this layout turned out - probably because these are some of my favorite papers right now, and mostly because of the subjects!

Be sure to check out Sketches In Thyme every day for more design team inspiration! I would love to see your take on this fun sketch! We have a great prize being offered this month, so be sure and check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!

Use Your Stuff #272 - Color Splash Challenge

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day! If you are looking for my reveal for The Memory Nest, please scroll down or go here.

We have a fun new challenge posted at Use Your Stuff today. Majo is hosting this week and she is challenging us to a color splash challenge! You can only use black and white plus one other color of your choice.

I chose to make a set of black and white project life style cards - with a splash of teal!

I used a Becky Higgins Project Life 6x6 paper pad called - "Confetti Edition" for my cards. I've wanted to try this color combo, or at least the black and white plus one other color, for a while, so this was a good time to try it out! Now I have a set of cards ready and waiting to be used!

Along with the Confetti edition paper pad, I have used stamps from a couple of different Elle's Studio stamp sets. Here is a closer look at each of the cards:

I made this card for a photo. I left the bottom of the circle free of adhesive so a photo can easily slip up under it. I will add some word/phrase stickers or some journaling along the border strip once I know what photos I will use.

I plan on using this card as a title card.

The heart paper on this card was all black and white. I colored in a few of the hearts with my Stampin' Up blender pen and some lagoon ink from Close To My Heart.  I added a phrase sticker across the middle of this heart that says - don't put off your happy life - pretty good advice, I say, and it matches the card above it, which says, "evidence of a happy life".

Be sure to stop by Use Your Stuff to see what splash of color the rest of the design team used on their projects. We would love it if you played along with us this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a fantastic day!

Hello Summer - Make It Monday #92 At The Memory Nest

Hello, scrappy friends! Good Monday morning to you! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and are ready to get this new week started!

It's Make It Monday at The Memory Nest today, and Leslie has created a fun, multi-photo, sketch for us to work with:

I love the "almost" 6x6 squares in the background of this sketch. It was the perfect time to pull out my new Echo Park - Summer Dreams - 6x6 paper pad and put it to work!

These aren't the best quality photos - the sun was really bright and behind us, so it made everything in the photo really dark, but you work with what you've got, and these photos are too cute to not scrap. (Plus, don't look nearly this dark in person!)

Miss Ada is quite the little fish! She loves spending time in the pool. She can't swim just yet, but she is getting really close! Her favorite thing to do in the pool is to have Pops throw her up in the air and catch her. That is until we got the deck built at the side of the pool. Now she can't get enough of jumping off of it, into Pops' arms! She will do this over and over and over until she just completely wears herself, and Pops out! Then she is done!

When I bought this 6x6 paper pad and a few sheets of 12x12, I didn't bother to get the ephemera pack. I'm not sure if there would have been anything in it that I could have used on this layout anyway, so all of my embellishments are made from the papers. I die cut the sun from a scrap from another Echo Park collection. I cut it out twice and added some foam tape in between the layer to pop it up a bit. I did the same thing with the cloud.

The ticket strips were cut from one of the 6x6 papers and I just punched a couple of circles and added them in behind the strips. I added a wood veneer heart to each of the clusters.

I haven't added any journaling yet. I'm debating on whether to make another page using more of the photos...it would be an easy add if I decide to add it to this layout.

Head on over to The Memory Nest to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the design team. I would love it if you played along with us this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be back soon with another project to share with you.

Christmas Card Challenges #17

Hello, everyone! Happy Sunday to you! I hope that you are having a good weekend! It looks like summer has really arrived here in the middle of the US. Temps this week are going to be in the mid 90's, high humidity (I'm sure!), and no sign of rain in the next seven days!

We have a new challenge up at Christmas Card Challenges today. Our only rule is to create a Christmas/holiday card. We do offer up an optional challenge in case you need a little inspiration. This week's optional challenge is a photo inspiration challenge. Use the image below for your inspiration:

I was inspired by the colors and the sentiment, of course! When I was going through my Christmas stash I found the Shimelle "Christmas Magic" 6x6 paper pad. The colors were perfect and the very first paper in the pad was a cut apart sheet with this little card on it...Perfect! I die cut three gold glitter stars and added them to the bottom of the sentiment piece.

Another quick and easy holiday card ready to be sent out this year!

This is card number four in my quest to get at least fifteen by the end of the month, so you'll probably be seeing quite a few Christmas cards in my upcoming posts!

Head on over to Christmas Card Challenges to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. The holiday season will be here before we know it, so play along with us now and get those Christmas cards made!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a wonderful day!

LTSCB #99 - Anything Goes

Hello, everyone! Happy Saturday to you! I hope that your weekend is off to a good start.

It's the middle of the month and that means it's time for some mid-month inspiration at LTSCB. Our challenge for July is "Anything Goes". You can create anything that you want - just be sure to follow our rules! You can find the rules on the right sidebar of the Love To Scrap Challenge Blog.

This month I got to work with the super cute Panda With Cup image from Little Blue Button Stamps. This little guy has stolen my heart and quickly became one of my favorite images to use! There are a few more stamps of this little guy that I think will be making it into my stamp stash very soon!

.

I wanted to go with a mostly black and white color combo, with just the pop of color on that cute little panda. I really like the way that it turned out. I think I will include a gift card to Starbucks inside this card and give it to my before the new school year starts. She may need a little boost of energy to get her day started!

Head on over to the LTSCB to see the beautiful the beautiful projects from the rest of the design team. We would love to see you playing along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!

Sketches In Thyme PL Style Sketch #78

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday to you! We have made it to the weekend once again! We've experienced our hottest week of the summer this week and it looks like it may only get hotter next week! Looks like the perfect time to stay in the air conditioning and get some scrappin' done!

I am up today on the Sketches In Thyme PL Style blog with my take on Sketch #78. Here's a look at the sketch:

In keeping with my 4th of July theme this month, I have created a few more patriotic cards for Ada's 6x8 album. I am using Little Yellow Bicycle's "Just Because" 6x6 paper pad for these cards. I'm hoping I have enough of it to make all of the cards I need for Ada's album - I'm getting down to just having scraps left!

I also created a card using one of our sketches from April:

I never got the chance to play along with this sketch at the time, but I am so happy to use it now! I will either do a little journaling on the banner or maybe add a couple of word/phrase stickers to it when I see where's it's going to go in the album.

Here is the 3rd card that I created for this set:

Ada was getting over strep throat so her energy level wasn't quite back to normal yet. She would play for a little while, then she would get cranky and need to take a break!

I added a little bit of silver metallic thread behind the star in the upper right-hand corner. I love the way it turned out!

Here is a look at all of the cards together. Like I said in my last post - I'm not sure what cards will wind up together - I'll just have to see what looks best when I get them all done!

Be sure to check out the Sketches In Thyme PL Style blog for more inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope that you have a great day!

Hello There

Hello, everyone! Happy Wednesday to you! I can't believe it is the middle of the week already. I can already feel our summer vacation slipping away. The kids will be back to school in just over a month! We're just going to forget that little thought and enjoy each day!

Enough talk about that! Let's move on to something fun to talk about. Paper Play Sketches has a new color challenge today, and it is one of my favorites - red, white, and blue!

Like I said, this is one of my favorite color combos. For a while there I even had my house mostly decorated in red, white, and blue, so I always like it when I get the chance to work with these colors.

I have used an old 6x6 paper pad from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Just Because". I have been hoarding it because I love it so much and don't want it to be gone, but I'd rather create something with it than having it collect dust on the shelf! I have mostly scraps left, and that is what I used on this card.

I will also be entering this card into the Hiding In My Craft Room Challenge #308 - Super Scraps Saturday-  which is to use those scraps! Stop by their blog and check it out!

I was so happy to see that one of my favorite sketch challenge blogs is back up and running. Clean and Simple Stamping started back with their "Take Two" challenges - revisiting their past sketches. Here is the sketch for this week:

I loved working with this sketch and I know I will use it again! Stop by the Clean and Simple Stamping blog to see what they have going on!

Be sure to stop by the Paper Play Sketches to see the red, white, and blue projects from the rest of the design team. I hope to see you playing along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a great day!

Christmas In July With Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #220

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Try Stampin' - Or Not - On Tuesday reveal, please scroll down or go here.

We have a new sketch posted over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week, and I can already tell that it is going to be a favorite of mine!

Last year I promised myself that I was going to start my Christmas cards early so I didn't have to be in a rush to get them done once the holiday season hit. I did pretty well, but still ended up making between 15 and 20 at the last minute. This year, thanks to some DT's devoted to only Christmas cards, I have been able to make several cards already. When July rolls around I like to have a Christmas in July mindset and really start cranking those Christmas cards out! I'm off to a slow start, thanks to our vacation the first week of July, but I am ready to see how many Christmas cards I can get done this month!

I pulled out my favorite Christmas 6x6 paper pad - Doodlebug's "Here Comes Santa Claus" and got started. I am sure you will see this collection quite a bit this month!

I love the big banner on this card. Banners are still one of my favorite things to use. I die cut the Santa out of one of the 6x6 papers and matted it on a piece of red and added foam tape to the back for a little dimension. I moved my sentiment, which is one of the strips from the border paper, down below the banner - just my personal preference for this card.

I have made three Christmas cards since the first of the month, and my goal is to make at least 15 before the end of the month rolls around. I guess I'd better get with it!

We will have the full design team reveals up on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog tomorrow, along with last week's Top 3, so be sure to stop by and check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Have A Holly Jolly Christmas With Try Stampin' - Or Not - On Tuesday #330

Hello, everyone! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

We have a new sketch for you today at Try Stampin' - Or Not- On Tuesday. Donna has created a fun sketch for us to work with this week, and our optional theme this week is "Portrait".

I have created another Christmas card for this sketch challenge. I used papers from Carta Bella's - Christmas Delivery - 6x6 paper pad and the sentiment is from a sticker sheet from Echo Park's - Reflections Christmas - collection. I added a couple of punched snowflakes for my shape and omitted the sentiment on the banners since my sentiment is the focal point of my card,

A quick and easy Christmas card ready to go in the mail this holiday season!

Head on over to the Try Stampin' blog to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. You have two weeks to play along and you can enter on the blog or on our Facebook page here.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Lasting Memories #352 - Little Firecracker

Hello, everyone! Happy Sunday to you! I am kind of sad since this is our last day of vacation, but it will also be nice to get back into some sort of routine.

We have a new challenge posted today over at Lasting Memories. Our theme for this month has been "Summer Adventures" and this week our challenge is to scrap those 4th of July Adventures. If you don't have 4th of July photos, or if you are not American, then make a layout using red, white, and blue or add some sparkle to your layout.

When I went to make this layout, I discovered that I need to get more 4th of July papers! I have used Bella Blvd's "All American" collection the past several years (it came out in 2013 and I think I bought 2 or 3 of the collection packs because I loved it so much!) and, luckily, the blue star background was the only 12x12 paper that I had left of it, everything else was just tiny scraps. I found the white from their "Lucky Stars" and a big enough piece of the red star paper from "Tiny Tots" to get this layout made. Yup, it's time to do some shopping!

Since I haven't gotten my photos from this year's 4th of July celebration yet, I scrapped these of Ada from last year. I am debating on whether to add a bit of journaling to this page or to see what other layouts I make for this day that will go along with it.

You will probably be seeing more of these particular photos this month on my blog since I am also working on Ada's 6x8 album. What better time to get these photos scrapped than when they are all right out in front of me! That way there's no chance of me not remembering where I put them!

Head on over to Lasting Memories to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the design team. I hope you have a chance to play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Now I am going to get outside and enjoy this last day of vacation! Have a great one!

Sketches In Thyme PL Style Sketch #77

Hello, everyone! Happy Thursday to you! I can't believe that it is already Thursday. Why do vacation weeks go by so quickly?! We've not had the best weather for vacation, but it's been nice to rest and relax.

Today is my day to be featured over at Sketches In Thyme PL Style with my take on sketch #77.  Shawn created a quick easy sketch for us for this first week of July.

This sketch makes for a quick and easy photo card, but you could easily turn this into a filler card as well.

Since we've been celebrating the 4th of July, I thought it fitting to share a patriotic layout! This card and layout will go into Ada's 6x8 album.

Stay tuned because I plan to share those layouts with you over the next three weeks, along with our new sketches at Sketches In Thyme PL Style.

I also based my other two cards off of sketches from last month:

I will be adding my journaling to this card once I know for sure where it is going to go in my album.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
