Tuesday Morning Sketches #488

Hello, hello!  Good Tuesday morning to you! If you are being affected by the COLD weather - be careful out there and keep warm! I know here in the middle of the US we don't see temperatures - and wind chills - this cold very often. I hope the weatherman is right and we are back to the 40's and 50's by the end of the week!

This week at Tuesday Morning Sketches we are using Jenee's Favorite sketch from 2018 - #453. It is a beautiful sketch!

I was in need of a birthday card so that is what I created using this sketch.

I made the banner piece a tad bit smaller than what was shown on the sketch because I wanted more of the number background paper to show, and I omitted the oval shape and added a big sentiment in its place. I die cut and punched a few stars - since the card was for my oldest son - to cluster at top of the banner piece.

I used an older Echo Park 6x6 paper pad - For The Record 2 - for this card and the sentiment die is from Close To My Heart.

Head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team and we would love it if you played along, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a great day!

Well Hello There - Scrao Our Stash - Pick Your Side Challenge

Hello and Happy Friday! Are you ready for the weekend? I know I am! We will be celebrating both our boys' birthdays this weekend. The oldest is 21 and the youngest is 19...wow, I feel old!

I am up on the Scrap Our Stash blog today with my take on the new Pick Your Side Challenge. For this new challenge, we are given a double page sketch and we are to pick a side of it to base our layout off of. There is also an added challenge to go along with the sketch challenge and this month it is to add flowers to your layout. Here's a look at the sketch:

For my layout, I have used the left side of the sketch. For the flower part of the challenge, I stamped a couple of different types of flowers in the same colors as my papers and used a die to cut them out. I then clustered them together.

I used Close To My Heart's - Heart Happy - collection for this layout. I knew I was going to love this collection the minute I saw it! The flower and heart stamps are also from CTMH - Prickly Pear Scrapbooking Stamp and Thin Cuts (Z3338). The title is a mix of Elle's Studio stamps and the block alpha dies from CTMH.

Here are a couple of close ups:

A little about these photos of Ada at nine and a half months old - she had been sitting on her blanket, just playing away and looking cute. The minute I pulled my camera out she got all excited and started kicking her feet like crazy. It was hard to get a photo that wasn't blurry from all of the movement! I just love the photo that looks like she is waving.

Be sure to stop by Scrap Our Stash for more design team inspiration. Have you played along with our new challenges yet? I would love to see your take on them!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #300!!!

Hello again! I am back with another project to share with you today. If you are looking for my Tuesday Morning Sketch reveal, please scroll on down.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is sharing their 300th sketch this week! What an accomplishment! Here is the super fun sketch that Michelle has created for us:

I am in full on Valentine's Day mode right now! I don't even send that many cards out for the holiday, but they are fun to make - and really you can tell your loved ones just how much you love them any time you want!

I've been using on this 6x6 paper pad for a while now. I know it's from American Crafts but the cover is gone and I have no idea what the name of it is. I only have 3 or 4 full sheets left and everything else is scraps. It is one of my favorites and I will be sad to see it go, although I am sure it will be easy to find something I like just as well when it is all used up!

The pink and red dot paper for the heart and the background was actually from my scrap box. It matched this collection fairly well and why cut into a full 6x6 sheet when this scrap piece would do!

I had cut out the word phrases from one of the papers a couple of weeks ago for another project and then ended up not using them, so since they were still out on my desk I thought they would be perfect for my card.

Head on over to Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge tomorrow to see the full design team reveal and last week's Top 3. I would love to see your take on this sketch, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #487

Hello, hello! Happy Tuesday to you! I hope your week is off to a good start.

It's time for a new sketch challenge at Tuesday Morning Sketches - sort of! Today we are featuring another "design team favorite" sketch from 2018. Today we are sharing Debbie's favorite sketch from the past year:

I must say that this sketch could easily become one of my favorites, too! I see myself using it again!

For my card, I have used Illustrated Faith's - You Are Loved - 6x8 paper pad. I just love the mix of colors and patterns in the collection. For the heart, I used an old stamp from Close To My Heart - All My Love (D1194) - which I found when going through my older stamps for another project. I need to go through my stamp collection more often - I found so many that I need to pull out and use again!

Head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. I would love to see your take on Debbie's favorite sketch too!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I will be back soon with another project to share with you!

Use Your Stuff #344 - Numbers

Hello, everyone! Happy Monday to you! I hope that you had a good weekend. Mine seemed way too short, but they always do!

Use Your Stuff has a new challenge up today and this week Amanda is challenging us to use numbers on our projects.

Since both of my boys have birthdays this week it was only right for me to make a birthday card for this challenge.

First of all, I just have to say that I can't believe that my baby is going to be 19 this week! It just doesn't seem possible!

For this card, I have used Echo Park's Birthday Wishes (boy) papers. I die cut the number 19 using the "Block Numbers" thin cuts from Close To My Heart. I just love these numbers - and the alphabet set, too - they are such a great size.

The sentiment is an old Close To My Heart stamp set - C1429 Party Pennants. I was going through some of my older stamps this past week and came across this set. I used to use it all the time and I had kind of forgotten I even had it! Time to get it back out and show it some love!

Head on over to Use Your Stuff to see the fabulous creations from the rest of the design team. We hope to see you playing along with us this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Better Together - Counerfeit Kit January Challenge #2

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday to you! I am so looking forward to the weekend! It's supposed to be super cold and dreary but that is just a good excuse to stay in and scrap!

Counterfeit Kit Challenge has their second challenge of the month posted today. For this challenge, you are to be inspired by the following mood board:

For my layout, everything I have used is from my January Counterfeit Kit - with the exception of the enamel dots. My enamel dots sit on my desk in a basket within reach at all times so I just pull them when I need them.

From the mood board, I was inspired by the messy stack of books to create a "stack" of patterned paper strips down the center of my layout. I was also inspired by most of the colors - black, white, red, and pink, and the circles, and the "sweet" dessert to create a layout about my hubby - or my "sweet" heart - and I! Tomorrow we celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary so I thought it was fitting to make a layout about us!

For the patterned paper strips, I used the border strip sheet that I included in my kit and a few pieces of washi tape from my kit. I can't believe that I remembered to use the washi tape. More often than not it goes untouched in my kit!

I also used the circle stamp that I had in my kit to do a little random stamping on my background. By the time I added the paper strips most of the stamped images were mostly covered, but they are there!

My title and a couple of the black foam hearts came off of one of the word sticker sheets and I die cut the red heart and the "I only have eyes for you" circle out of one of the papers for my embellishments and the "love this life" circle is another stamp that I had included.

Here is a close-up of the embellishments:

Be sure to stop by the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog to see the creations from the rest of the design team. We would love to see your take on the mood board challenge, too.

Sketches In Thyme #357

Hello, everyone! Happy Thursday to you! I hope that you are having a good week. It's been a busy one around here and I am looking forward to the weekend.

Today is my day to be featured on the Sketches In Thyme blog with my take on Sketch #357. This week's sketch is courtesy of Shawn Lahr and it is one of my favorites!

Here is what I came up with:

I loved that the sketch featured four small photos - it was perfect for this series of photos of Ada jumping in a puddle after a spring rain a couple of years ago. It wasn't a very big puddle, but it was just right to jump around in for a while!

I used Echo Park papers on this layout. The background is from their "Photo Freedom" collection from several years ago, the solid turquoise is from "About A Boy", the stripe - and the stickers - are from "Sunny Days Ahead", and the pink solid for the title is from their "Summer Dreams" collection. I so love being able to work with different collections from the same manufacturer - you know the colors are always going to match!

Be sure to stop by Sketches In Thyme to see more design team inspiration throughout the month. I would love to see what you create with this sketch.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a great day!

Scribbles Designs Challenge #73 - Birthday Time Again

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Tuesday Morning Sketch Reveal, please scroll on down.

It's time for a new challenge at Scribbles Designs today. Challenge #73 is - Birthday Time Again! That's right, Scribbles Designs is turning 6 and we want to see your birthday creations!

Along with our regular prizes, we've got a couple of extra prizes planned for our 6th birthday event, so we hope that you'll join us over on the challenge blog! If you'd like the chance to win the image that I used today, please be sure to leave a comment on this post! For the chance to win even more images, be sure to visit all of my fellow teammates. You can find links to all their personal blogs by visiting today's post on the challenge blog.

Here's a look at what I've created:

For my card, I have used - #966 CP Layer Cake 2. I colored the image with my Shin Han markers and I decided to go monochromatic with my card - something I don't do too often.

The papers were all in my scrap box and I used up what was left of them! So far I am doing pretty well at my goals for the new year. Let's see if I can keep the momentum going into February!

Be sure to stop by the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog to see the birthday creations from the rest of the design team. We hope to see you playing along with us!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #486

Hello, everyone! Good Tuesday morning to you!

It's time for Challenge #486 at Tuesday Morning Sketches. This week we are starting to feature our favorite sketches of 2018. First up is Andrea and she has chosen sketch #446 as her favorite:

I have made a birthday card using this sketch. The only thing I changed up was using a tag in place of the oval shape on the sketch. I used Echo Park's - Birthday Wishes (girl) for this card. The tag is actually a sticker from the sticker sheet. I love it when I can use up some scrappy supplies on my cards.

Head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to see how the rest of the design team took on this sketch. We have a fun prize up for grabs this week so be sure to play along with us for your chance to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I will be back a little later with another project to share with you!

Hulk Smash - Scrap Our Stash Saturday Cartoons Challenge

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday to you! I'm a little sad today as my oldest son is heading back to college ahead of some winter weather. It's been so nice to have him home for the last month and I will miss having him around the house, but he is not far away and will be back home in a couple of weeks for his birthday.

Today is my day to be featured on the Scrap Our Stash blog with my take on the Saturday Cartoon Inspired Challenge. Create a layout inspired by the following Saturday Cartoon Image and Sketch AND you must use 3+ stars.

For my layout, I was inspired by the superheroes, and from the sketch, I included the long banner, a large circle, 2 photos, and journaling strips, and I added in several different sizes of die cut stars.

In keeping with one of my goals for the new year, I scrapped these photos of Matthew from 2003. His Dad had taken him to see the Hulk movie and he was obsessed with it for a while. When he found these big foam Hulk hands at the store he thought they were just what he needed when he "Hulked out"! I just love his angry Hulk face in the second photo!

I pulled some older papers from my stash for this layout, and I do believe that they are all from various Echo Park collections. I fussy cut some of the words from one of the papers because they reminded of an old cartoon or comic book.

Be sure to stop by Scrap Our Stash for more design team inspiration. I would love it if you played along with us this month!

A New Adventure - TN Time With Lisa and Lori

Hello, hello! Happy Thursday to you! We have almost made it to the weekend and I am looking forward to it! I have a lot of things I would like to work on this weekend - scrappy and otherwise - and it's supposed to snow, so it's looking like I may have an excuse to stay inside and be creative. I guess we will see if the forecast is right or not.

I have some exciting news to share with you today. My good friend, Lisa, and I have decided to host a monthly Traveler's Notebook - or TN for short  - challenge on our blogs! Bullet Journal spreads and Planner spreads will also be allowed. This is something we have talked about doing for a couple of months and we decided since we both had goals of trying out the Traveler's Notebook format this year that it was the perfect time to launch this challenge!

Lisa is a talented Sketch Artist - you may know her from Sketch N Scrap - and will be providing a TN sketch for us to work with each month on her blog - My Creative Endeavors. I will be providing a random challenge each month here on my blog. This can be anything from a stash challenge (to help us use up what we've got), a color challenge, or a prompt to just get you started.

You can complete the challenges together or separately - it's your choice. If you complete my random challenge - link up in the right sidebar here on my blog. If you combine my challenge with Lisa's Sketch Challenge - link up your layout both here on my blog and on Lisa's blog. If you just complete the sketch challenge, then just link up on Lisa's blog. You will have a chance to win a prize from me and a prize from Lisa.

Our challenges will start on the 10th of each month at 9 A.M. CST and will run until midnight of the 9th of the following month.

Before we get to my challenge - let's go over the rules. We don't have a lot but we gotta have them. For future reference, you can find the rules at the top of my blog page under the TN Challenge Rules tab.

1. Create a TRAVELER'S NOTEBOOK, PLANNER, OR BULLET JOURNAL spread based on the CHALLENGE THEME and our sketch.
2. You must be a follower of my blog.
3. Create a new, not previously posted project.
4. You are welcome to combine with other challenges.
5. If you have a blog please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your post.
6. You can link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you show your project on IG, please make sure to use #TNtimewithLisaandLori.
7. You can submit multiple projects but they must be posted to Mister Linky or social media separately.
8. If there are less than 3 players for our challenge, no winners will be chosen.
9. Most importantly have FUN!

Now for my first challenge:

Just use at least 3 patterned papers on your TN, planner, or bullet journal spread. This would be a great time to raid those scraps!

Here is Lisa's sketch challenge:

And here is what I created using both the sketch and 3 patterned papers:

For my spread, I have used papers from my January Counterfeit Kit. You can read all about it here. I thought these papers fit the mood and feel that I wanted for this spread.

The papers are from Bella Blvd - Valentina - collection. My title - Love, love, love - was actually part of one of the border strips that I cut apart and added to my spread. I also used my Ali Edward Story stamp from December for some embellishing. I thought about randomly stamping a few heart outlines on my spread, but was afraid I would mess it up...maybe I will get a little braver with it as I work in this notebook!

Here are a couple of close-ups:

I am going to try my hand at the 52 Favorites challenge this year. Paper Issues started this challenge last year and they are continuing it this year. All you do is scrap your favorite thing from the last week. I knew I wanted to use a TN for this challenge, so you'll probably see a lot of my 52 Favorites throughout the year, but you never know what else I will work on in this format!

What do you think of my first attempt at a TN spread? I know I had a lot of fun creating it and I look forward to creating more spreads in this size.

Head on over to Lisa's blog to see her take on the sketch and my challenge. I will be offering up a prize - I just need to pull it together! You have until February 9th to play along! We would love it if you played along with us!

Just a note - you can find this challenge easily by clicking on the TN Time with Lisa and Lori graphic in the right sidebar.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Southern Girls Challenge - Team Lou - Anything Goes

Hello, everyone! It's time for the first challenge of the new year at Southern Girls Challenge. Team Lou is up first and the challenge is...Anything Goes! Please be sure to read the rules on the Southern Girls Challenge blog before you enter our challenges.

We have two great sponsors for this challenge - Neat and Tangled and The Paper Shelter.

For my card, I have used a stamp set from Neat and Tangled - Simple Christmas.

For me, it's never too early to start on my Christmas cards. If I can make a couple every month then it's not nearly as hectic when the holiday season rolls around.

I stamped the house image and the sentiment with Versamark ink and embossed them with white embossing powder. I popped up both the scalloped circle and the sentiment with foam tape. A pretty quick and easy Christmas card ready to go when the holiday season rolls around.

Head on over to Southern Girls Challenge to see the projects from the rest of the design team. We would love it if you played along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great night!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #298

Hello, again! I am back with one more project to share with you today!

The latest sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge has been posted and it is a really fun one. I thought it would be a great one to use for a Valentine's Day card:

As soon as I saw that circle it reminded me of the - Doodled Designs (A1170) - stamp set from Close To My Heart that I have in my supplies, and I knew I would be using it on my card.

The paper that I have used is from an American Crafts 6x6 paper pad that I picked up last year. The cover is long gone and I mostly have only scraps left, but scraps were perfect for this card. One of the papers is full of word phrases and I cut out the "I love you more" phrase to act as my sentiment.

Since I used the doodled circle stamp I also doodled an outline just around the white part of my card - it looked a little plain otherwise!

Be sure to check out Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge tomorrow for the full design team reveal and last week's Top 3. I would love to see your take on this sketch.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great afternoon!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #485

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start. We are still enjoying some beautiful weather, although today is supposed to start a bit of a cool down.

We have the first challenge of the new year up at Tuesday Morning Sketches today. This is when we usually kick off the new year featuring our favorite sketches of 2018,  but today we are honoring a former design team member, Jessi Fogan, who passed away on December 27th, by featuring one of her last sketches. Please keep Jessi's family, she leaves her husband Rob and 2 sons Connor and Riley, in your thoughts and prayers.

Enjoy this sketch and go after it with reckless abandon!  Add buttons, do some crazy artsy stuff - do it like Jessi would have!

In keeping with one of my goals to work on using the scraps in my scrap box, I pulled these scraps from Glitz Designs and created a birthday card with them.

The green on the triangle paper is an ombre - like the solid - but the colors look a little off...they really do match!

I die cut a present from a Close To My Heart die in the same solid green paper - being sure to use from both the light end of the paper and the dark end to give a little contrast. The sentiment is also from Close To My Heart - S1803 Birthday Time. I punched out several stars to create my own background of sorts for the main block. I really didn't mean to add that many, I just got carried away dotting the glue around before I realized how many were on there!

Head on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. We do hope you join us this week in honoring Jessi by playing along with us.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

LM #428 - Bling, Buttons, Brads, Sequins, Enamel Dots...

Hello, everyone! Happy Sunday to you! I hope that you are having a good weekend. Our weather has turned unseasonably warm here in the middle of the US and it's looking to stay that way for a few days. It was nice to have the doors open and letting in fresh air yesterday!

Lasting Memories has a new challenge up today. Our theme for January is - This or That - and we are working on using up some of those neglected items in our stash. This week our challenge is to use bling, buttons, brads, sequins, enamel dots, etc. on our layouts.

Here is what I came up with - using several blue enamel dots, red gems, and a few silver sequins:

I have had this photo of Ada in my "to scrap" pile for several months and thought it was time to get it done. The photo is just a tad blurry, but it is too cute not to scrap, so I turned it to black and white and it is not so noticeable. There's not really a story behind this photo - I was just taking some photos of her one day and this is one of my favorites. It just captures her sweetness!

I used my January Counterfeit Kit - which you can see here - that I created for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge - for this layout. I had included several scraps in my kit that I thought would be perfect for this photo.

I also saw this sketch from The Studio Challenges and couldn't wait to use it. I love me some circles on a layout!

I added in quite a few more circles than it shows on the sketch, changed the orientation of the photo and the placement of the title.

I included a circle stamp set in my January Counterfeit Kit and I actually used a few different stamps on this layout. It's always a bit scary to stamp directly on the background, but I really like how it turned out!

Be sure to stop by Lasting Memories to see the fabulous layouts from the rest of the design team. I would love it if you played along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great day!

Hooray For You - Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #137

Hello, hello! Happy Saturday to you! We have made it to the first weekend of the new year. We have been back into the old routine for a few days and it's been hard after a couple of weeks off!

Sketch N Scrap has the first card sketch of the year posted today. Heather is starting us off with a fabulous sketch to play with:
Here is what I came up with:

All of the papers on my card came from my scrap box. More on my scrap box and my plan to tackle it this year in a bit, but first, a bit about my card.

I found a few different scraps that worked well together to use on my card. I stamped the party hats using a stamp and die set from Sizzix in coordinating colors - Outdoor Denim and Cotton Candy - from Close To My Heart. I popped up the sentiment and the pink party hat for a little dimension.

This card came together very quickly and is ready to be sent out whenever I need it.

Now, about my scrap box...when we were doing our room rearrange, I finally let go of 4 boxes (of various sizes) of scraps. I never seemed to go to them when I needed a small piece of paper - and let's be real here - if you read my 2019 goals post you will agree that I really didn't need to hang onto 4 boxes of scraps. When I got rid of the 4 boxes I decided to keep one of the boxes that my kits from The Scrap Room came in to use as my scrap box. I had hoped to keep it manageable, and I do use my scraps out of it regularly, but I am not keeping up with them like I would like - the box is bursting at the seams!

So, my plan is to make an effort to use up these scraps over the next couple of months and then just go ahead and let them go! I will try to keep track of what I make, or how many projects that I use them on, and give an update at the end of February. I think I need to go through and separate them by color to make it a little easier and faster to find what I need! Wish me luck in using up some scraps!

If you've made it this far - thanks for hanging in there! Head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. I would love to see what you create with the sketch, so be sure to link up over on the blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Scribbles Designs Challenge #72 - Year In Review - Midway Post

Hello, hello! I am back with my fourth post of the day. If you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap reveal, the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop, or my Let's Get Sketchy reveal, please scroll down.

It is time for the midway inspiration post at Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog today. Challenge #72 is a "Year in Review" challenge. All you need to do is pick any of our challenges from 2018 and create a project for that challenge. You can find a full list on the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog here,

I decided to use our "Anything Goes" challenge and create a Valentine's Day card.

For my card, I have used image #883 - Mailbox.

I used an older 6x6 paper pad from Pink Paislee called Pen Pals. I love the paper with the envelopes all over it and thought it was perfect for this image. I colored the image with colored pencils, cut it out, and added some foam tape for dimension. I cut a little slit in the mailbox to make it look like the envelopes were going into the box.

Head on over to Scribbles Designs to see the creations from the rest of the design team. We would love it if you played along with us!

Thank so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a
great day!

Five - Let's Get Sketchy

Hello and welcome back! This is my third post of the day. If you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap Reveal or the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop, please scroll on down.

It is time for Let's Get Sketchy's first sketch of the new year and I am thrilled to be sharing my first layout as a design team member for them with you! January's sketch is the same sketch that was used for the design team call. Here is a look at the fun sketch:

And the layout that I created:

Ada had just had her birthday party and I couldn't wait to scrap this photo. I used papers from Echo Park and Crate Paper for my background and the rest were all found in my scrap box.

I pulled out a stamp set and die set from Sizzix and put it to use creating the embellishments for this layout. To finish off the cluster area I added a few enamel dots and the number "5" puffy sticker - since it is her 5th birthday. The title was created using my alphabet die from Close To My Heart.

Head on over to Let's Get Sketchy to see the rest of the design team's creations. I would love to see your take on this fun sketch!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be back soon with one more project to share with you!

Counterfeit Kit Challenge January Kit Reveal and Blog Hop

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap reveal, please scroll on down.

I am so excited to be continuing with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge design team in 2019! We are starting the year off with a fun inspiration kit from Felicity Jane - the Hannah Collection - and our usual blog hop/reveal:

Such a fun collection to counterfeit! The colors - reds, pinks, blues, black and white, wood grain...so much fun - and that is exactly what I based my kit on - the colors.

And here is my kit - Lots to Love:

My kit contains a lot of red, pink, and blue in it. They are not exactly like the colors in the inspiration kit, but they are close and I am really excited to start using this kit.

Here is a closer look at the papers:

With the pinks and reds and blue in the inspiration kit, I went right to my Echo Park collections. I pulled several papers from different Echo Park collections and then came upon the "Valentine" collection from Bella Blvd. Once again, it had a lot of the pinks and reds and black and white papers.

I did add a random piece of yellow to my kit - a couple of my papers have yellow in them so I thought it would be a good idea to have a little showing of it in my kit.

Most of the "B" sides of these papers will work, too.

As for the patterns - I have a few florals, diagonal stripes, a triangle patterned paper in blue, a graph paper, and a few others that I couldn't resist adding to my kit.

Here are the cardstock and brown papers I have chosen - a cream, black, white, brown dot, brown solid, and a wood grain:

I had a few scraps from a couple of the collections that I used in my kit, so I added them in hopes of getting them used up.

Here are the alphas and word stickers that I have pulled:

I didn't pull a lot of die cuts for my kit...to be honest,  I cleaned my scrap room before Christmas and cannot remember where I put one of the boxes of die cuts that I have that would have worked with my kit...I'm sure once I get everything put back in order they will turn up! If I find anything to add to my kit I will either edit this post or add it in my next post for CKC.

Since I am lacking in the die cut department, I added in quite a few stamp sets. I'm wanting to use my stamps more this year, so maybe this will be a good start on that!

The inspiration kit has a few tags, so I added my tag dies, some washi tape,  and some gold stickers. The brads were an afterthought, but I think I can get a few of them used up.

There you have it - my somewhat mega kit! What a great way to start off the new year! Everything I pulled for my kit is from my older stash. It's not exactly like the inspiration kit but it is definitely something I am excited to start using and that's what it's all about!

Here is the complete blog hop line up. Be sure to check out all of the design team blogs and see their fun kits. We would love to see your kits, too!
