Join Us All Month Long At Sketch N Scrap...
Hello, hello! October is going to be a busy month for us at Sketch N Scrap!
Along with our regularly scheduled layout sketches on the 1st and 15, and our card sketches on the 5th and 20th, we will be celebrating World Card Making Day all month long, too! We will be sharing new card sketches every Saturday in October in celebration of World Card Making Day, so be sure to check out the blog every Saturday.
And, as if that is not enough, we will also be having our Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice Online Crop over on our Facebook Events Page:
The crop starts this Saturday and our challenges will be card challenges - for World Card Making Day, of course! If you are not a card maker but would still like to play along don't worry, we will have a couple of bonus layout challenges, too! The crop will last until the last day of the month so you will have lots of time to play along!
Why don't you come on over and join us? Here's the link to the crop - https://www.facebook.com/events/2045140885706643/.
I would love to see what you create this month!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

Sketch N Scrap WCMD Challenge #1
Happy Saturday scrappy friends - and what a great Saturday it is - World Card Making Day! The internet will be all abuzz with card challenges and inspiration!
At Sketch N Scrap it is going to be double the fun. We are celebrating WCMD all month long and it all starts today. We will post four exclusive new card sketches every Saturday in October. Our Fall Fun Crop is starting this weekend over on our Facebook page, as well. All of our crop challenges will be new card sketches in honor of WCMD, so be sure to check both the blog and the Facebook page out!
Here is the fabulous sketch that Lisa has created for the blog post today:
I just have to say - I love this sketch and I'm sure it will be a go-to sketch for me when I need a quick card.
I haven't made many fall cards, so I thought that is what I would concentrate on for at least part of this month. I used an old Pink Paislee collection - Prairie Hill - that I love so much and have been hoarding since I bought it, waiting for the perfect project. Now is the time to get it out and use it! You will probably be seeing these papers all month long!
I stamped a pretty little leaf from an old Close To My Heart stamp set and the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.
Be sure to check out the Sketch N Scrap blog and our Fall Fun Crop and join in on the fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be back with another project a little later!

Sketch N Scrap - World Card Making Day
Hello everyone! Happy World Card Making Day! I have a super fun card sketch from Sketch N Scrap to share with you today.
In honor or World Card Making Day, Mandy has created this card sketch for us to work with:
Isn't this a fun sketch? I think Mandy did a great job on it.
For my card I used the Simple Stories Homespun 6x6 paper pad. I have used just about every sheet of this paper pad, and I know I say this all the time, but I am really wishing I had more. (I don't think I've ever met a scrapbook paper that I didn't like!) I stayed true to the sketch, only changing up the rectangular piece for more of a square.
I hope you find some time today to play along with our special sketch. I know I am hoping to get lots of cards done today!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
