Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #246
Hello, everyone! Happy Tuesday to you! I hope that your week is off to a good start! The first of the year has started off very busy for me...not that I mind, but I do hope to find a little balance soon!
Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge has the new sketch for the week posted and I can't wait to see what you create with it.
I will admit that I struggled a little bit with this sketch. Not that it was hard to work with, but I'm in that mode of I don't really want to work on Christmas cards, I've already made several birthday cards - I didn't really know what kind of card I wanted to make, or what papers I wanted to use...
I had the "Be Mine" 6x6 paper pad by Pebbles still out on my desk, so I finally decided to make a Valentine's Day card - and once I had decided, it all came together so quickly! I did add a heart underneath my sentiment and I think I may have liked it better if I'd kept the sentiment straight instead of at an angle, but it is glued down now and not coming back up!
We will have the full design team reveal tomorrow at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, along with last week's Top 3. We hope you find some time to play along with us!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

HIMCR #334 - Your Favorite Colors
Hello, everyone! Happy Saturday to you! We have made it to the first weekend of the new year! Do you have anything fun planned?
We have a new challenge posted today at Hiding In My Craft Room. Our sponsor for this week is My Besties and the prize is 3 of their images - winner's choice.
3 of my favorite colors are yellow, pink, and turquoise and that is what I have used on this card.
I used the My Besties - Little Dimples - image on my card - and I just realized that I attached it a little on the crooked side! I will be sure and get that "straightened" out as soon as possible! I colored the image with colored pencils - using mainly my 3 favorites!
Head on over to Hiding In My Craft Room to see the projects from the rest of the team! We hope to see you playing along with us this week!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #113
Hello and Happy Friday! This has been a short "work" week, but goodness, it has felt long! Getting back into a routine is always hard after a break, and the super cold, dreary days aren't helping any!
Sketch N Scrap has a new card sketch posted today. Heather has created a fun sketch to get us started in the new year.
Since the days have been so cold and dreary, I thought I would brighten things up with a nice, bright, sunshiny card!
I've used Echo Park's - Splendid Sunshine - papers and the sun is from the sticker sheet. The sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn stamp set called "Hello Sunshine".
I think the bright yellow and the sunshine will brighten someone's day!
Head on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog to see the sketch and the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. We can't wait to see what you create!
Before I go, we are also getting ready for our "New Beginnings" Crop. The fun starts on January 11th and will last until the 31st, so be sure to check it out! You can find it on our events page here. We hope to see you playing along with us!

Forgeries On The Fourth With Counterfeit Kit Challenge
Hello, everyone! I don't know about you, but I have been a day behind all week thanks to the holiday on Monday!
I am so excited for this post today - I am sharing my first "forgery" with you today! Here is a reminder of our inspiration kit at Counterfeit Kit Challenge this month:
I was inspired by the tags, labels, banners, and decorative circles that can be found in the kit, and I made a set of my own.
I die cut the large and small tags and added a piece of off-white to the large tags. The labels were created by die cutting the banner piece and adding it to a piece of patterned paper. The banners were hand cut and I used scraps from the tags to top them with - no waste here!
I created two sets of the circles with hearts on them. The large circles have hearts stamped directly on them and the small circles have die cut hearts attached to them.
A pretty quick and easy forgery all ready to be added to future layouts!
Be sure to stop by the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog to see the forgeries from the other Master Forgers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Die Cuttin' Divas Ch #350 Guest Designer!
Hello, everyone! Good Tuesday morning to you! Today we are back to the old routine...vacation was nice, but it's kinda nice to get back to a routine again.
I am so excited to be a guest designer today over at Die Cuttin' Divas - and it's one of my favorite challenges - a sketch challenge!
I thought I would start off the new year with making a few birthday cards to add to my stash. I used Simple Stories - Let's Party - papers, my Spellbinders circle dies, and the balloon dies are from Taylored Expressions. The balloons are actually inlaid in the circle, but that's a little hard to tell in the photo. I don't really have any small birthday sentiments - at least not small enough for my liking to go on this card - so I printed my sentiment off of the computer and added it to my card.
A nice, bright, cheery birthday card all ready to send out this year!
I want to thank Georgiana and the rest of the Die Cuttin' Divas team for having me as their guest this week! Be sure to stop by and check them and why don't you play along with us this week?!

LTCCB #18 - Anything Goes
Hello again! I am back with my 4th post of the day! If you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap reveal, please scroll down or go here. If you are looking for my Counterfeit Kit Challenge reveal and blog hop, please scroll down or go here. For my LTSCB reveal, scroll on down or go here.
Love To Craft Challenge Blog has the first challenge of the new year posted. Our challenges are always - Anything Goes - and it can be any type of craft project that you want to create.
Here is my card for January:
I have used Pebbles' - Be Mine - 6x6 paper pad for this card. I got this paper pad a few months ago and couldn't wait to use it - the little cut apart sheets are so cute and are perfect for Valentine's Day cards. I've used an older stamp from a Studio G $1 bin stamp set for my sentiment.
Head on over to the LTCCB to see the beautiful creations from the rest of the design team. We can't wait to see what you create!

LTSCB #105 - Anything Goes
Hello, hello! I am back with my 3rd post for the day. If you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap reveal, please scroll down or go here. If you're looking for my Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop, please scroll down or go here.
Love To Scrap Challenge Blog is starting the year off with an Anything Goes challenge! A quick reminder of our rules - follow the specified theme, no more than 5 entries per challenge - all separate projects, must use stamping - rubber/clear stamps and digital stamps, all new projects, and link to your project post, not your entire blog. That's it - pretty easy peasy!
For January, we had the pleasure of working with a stamp set from CASual Fridays Stamps. I chose the "Pretty Posies" stamp set and here is my card using it.

I just love this big flower stamp and there are so many ways you can use this whole set! I colored the flower and leaf images with my Prima watercolor pencils. The colors are just so vibrant! Since the pink turned out to be pretty bright, I used Simple Stories - DIY Boutique - 6x6 paper pad.

Counterfeit Kit January Reveal and Blog Hop.
Hello, again! This is my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap reveal, please scroll down or go here.
Welcome to my stop on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge January Reveal and Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Leslie's blog. If you get lost along the way you can find the complete list on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog.
Here is our first inspiration kit of 2018:
Lisa has chosen Cocoa Daisy's Fair Isle kit - a great kit to help us get some of those holiday photos scrapped! This kit is full of the traditional reds and greens, but there is also a pop of pink and a little yellow can be found, too.
Here is my kit - which I have named Merry, Merry. First, my complete kit:
To be honest, I don't have a lot of die cut/ephemera Christmas pieces, so I included a couple of sticker sheets that included the right colors and some of the same type pieces that are included in the inspiration kit, along with some alphas. I've included some red bling, some stamps, and some dies and punches to make my own embellishments if needed.
That's it for my first kit reveal. What do you think? Now it's your turn to make up a kit using the inspiration kit photo.
Next up on the blog hop is Tina. Head on over to her blog and see the fantastic kit that she has created!

Here is my kit - which I have named Merry, Merry. First, my complete kit:
I started with the plaid paper in the inspiration photo. I knew I had a Christmas plaid paper from Simple Stories that I would use for my inspiration piece, then I picked a paper with words, a red dot, a green, and a stripe. When I got to the stripe my kit kind of took a different direction! My striped paper also had a bit of pink, and since I scrap a lot of photos of my granddaughter, I knew I wanted to include more pink in my kit.
For my solid colors, I included the basic black, off-white, and white cardstock, a piece of red, and I loved the look of the watercolor type paper with a bit of yellow on it, so I included a little bit of yellow, too! The kit also has a piece of dotted vellum in it and while going through my stash I found a piece of dotted vellum, so I stuck it in my kit as well.

Sketch N Scrap #144
Happy New Year! I can't believe that it is 2018! I am looking forward to the new year and all that is to come!
Today is going to be a very busy day around the old blog, so let's get started!
Sketch N Scrap has a fun new sketch to get the new year started off right! Lisa has created a great 3 photo sketch for us to work with, and as you can see by my layout, it is easy to adapt to a 2 photo layout or you could even use 4 photos, or one large photo...so many possibilities!
Let me start by saying - I love these cute photos of Miss Ada! She looks so stinkin' adorable in that Twilight Sparkle mask/glasses! I was surprised when she readily agreed to putting them on and letting me take a picture or two of her. She's a pretty good sport!
I knew I wanted to use the colors in the glasses, so purple, navy, and hot pink. Purple paper was hard to find in my stash! I did find these two pieces from Echo Park to work with. In fact, all of the papers on this layout are from Echo Park. And can you believe that in all of the thousands - yes, you read that right - thousands - of patterned papers that I have I could not find a navy blue that I thought matched! Or maybe I just didn't look hard enough, but I did have this navy polka dot washi tape out on my desk and it looked pretty good on there!
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the circle element on the sketch. I didn't want to use more purple or hot pink, so I decided to add some Tim Holtz Distess Ink to a doily, and the colors matched really well!
Be sure to stop by Sketch N Scrap to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the design team. We hope you have some time to play along with us this month!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be right back with another project to share with you!
