Lasting Memories #226 - Anything Goes with Life Moment's Theme

Hello everyone! We are in the middle of celebrating Matthew and Shane's birthdays this weekend. Matthew turned 17 yesterday and Shane will be 15 tomorrow. How did my boys get so big, so fast?! Speaking of birthdays - I have a layout of Ada's first birthday to share with you today!

 

Today's challenge over at Lasting Memories is Anything Goes with Life Moment's theme. What better life moment is there than to celebrate a first birthday! Ada didn't much care for her first taste of birthday cake and she really didn't like the feel of the icing, either. But, she sure looked cute with it all over her face!

I used the January 1st sketch from Sketch - N -Scrap for this layout. I love the larger focal photo with the 3 smaller photos below. I didn't have a lot of journaling for this page, but what I did have I hid behind the large photo. I had even saved a few of the cupcake toppers that Abby made just so I could add them to this page!
