Make It Monday #75

Hello and Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend and are ready to start the new week!

Today is Make It Monday over at The Memory Nest, and we have a great sketch for you! I am a big fan of circles, so this sketch was right up my alley!

I die cut several different sized circles from the pattern papers I chose - a mix of Kaiser Craft's Holly Jolly collection and Echo Park's Christmas Cheer collection. The papers in these two collections were a perfect match, even though they are from different companies. Since the circles already made this layout a little on the busy side, I opted to keep embellishments to a minimum and just add a few gold gems around the layout. After I took the photo I realized my title was on a slant, and that has been fixed as well!

Every year on Christmas eve we try to get a few fun family photos. This was one of my favorites from last year - it wasn't the best quality photo, but I love it anyway!

Head on over to The Memory Nest to see the layouts from the rest of the design team. I hope you find some time to play along with us this month. We love to see your creations!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

  1. LOVE this layout and great family photo!!

  2. Cool layout and great for a Christmas layout too :) Love the family photo :)

  3. Fabulous explosion of circles, matches the explosion of folks in your photo brilliantly.

  4. Such a great way to use up Christmas papers! I don't care much for Christmas so I don't really scrap it... which means my Christmas papers just sit in my stash! Now I have an idea of how to use them for the 1 or 2 photos I may actually take! Thanks for the inspiration!
