Sketch N Scrap #150

Hello and Happy Easter, everyone! It's supposed to be a cold, dreary day around here today, but that won't stop us from having a fun day anyway.

It's also the first of the month - which means it's going to be a busy day here on the blog, so let's get started.

Sketch N Scrap has the first sketch of the month posted today. Lisa has created a fabulous 2-photo sketch for us to work with. Of course, you can always move things around to fit your photos.

I have created a layout of my crafty buddy - Miss Ada. This girl loves to craft alongside me. She can often be found at my desk or at the kitchen table coloring or gluing down little odds and ends that she finds laying on my desk that she makes her cards with.

Friday mornings are usually our time to sit and craft together. I have learned to print off an extra image or two that I might be working on for her, too. She thinks she's pretty big stuff working with Nana!

For this layout, I have used some scraps from my March Counterfeit Kit. I have a few sheets left from this kit and I still plan on using it when I can.

I wanted to be sure and use one of the images that Ada colored from that day, so I cut it out and added it by my title.

I added in a couple of tags - mostly because I wanted to add a little bit of journaling and I didn't know where else to put it! I also die cut a few vellum hearts to add to my layout. I went around the edges of the hearts on the back side with my black marker so they didn't stand out quite so much and I really like how they turned out.

Head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the design team. I can't wait to see what you create with this sketch!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be right back with another project to share with you.
