Sweet Girl - Sketch N Scrap Sketch #236

Hello, everyone! Happy Thursday to each and every one of you! I hope that you are having a good week. Hubby has the day off so we are starting a nice long weekend. The weather is supposed to be beautiful and I have a feeling we will be doing some outside work while we have the chance.

Today I am up on the Sketch N Scrap Facebook page with my layout using the November 1st sketch. This fun sketch is courtesy of Sketch Artist Lisa and I know I will be using it again soon:

This is what I came up with:

For this layout, I have used the Paige Evans Bungalow Lane page kit that I had included in my November Great Stash Bash kit. I still have enough left for another layout so maybe I can get that second set of photos scrapped, too. Here is a look at the page kit:

I used quite a few of the die cuts and one of the stickers from the sticker sheet. Since they were all on the larger side it didn't take much else for embellishing. The only other things that I used on this layout that wasn't in my stash bash kit are the pink grid paper and the enamel dots. I cut out one of the blue tags for my journaling and hid it behind the top cluster of flowers and leaves.

Here are a couple of close-ups:

For this cluster, I used a few of the larger leaves. I wanted to layer something on top and this little cross-stitch sticker was perfect. Not only is it true - she does make me smile - but it's also a nod to my other favorite hobby - cross-stithcing!

I took these photos of Ada early in October when she had an early out day. I love those days when we get to spend a little extra time together! It reminds me of the good old days when she was here all the time. It was a beautiful day and we took advantage of it spending lots of time outside. Our maple trees were just starting to change colors and she was happy to climb up in one of the trees and let me take a few photos of her.

Be sure to stop by the  Sketch N Scrap blog and the Sketch N Scrap Facebook page for more inspiration for this sketch and all of our sketches this month.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great day!
