Perfectly Created Chaos Challenge #8

Hello, hello! This is my second post of the day, so if you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap reveal, please scroll down or go here.

I have some really exciting news to share with you! I am a member of the Perfectly Created Chaos design team! I just found Dori's blog not too long ago, and I am so excited to be a part of her team! We will be bringing you a couple of fun challenges throughout the month, so be sure to visit Perfectly Created Chaos and become a follower so you don't miss a thing!

The first challenge for January is "Texture". This can be texture paste, embossing or crinkling of paper, etc. - just anything to add texture.

For my card I have used texture paste by Ranger, and an adhesive backed heart stencil from Firefly to create the background of my card. I then die cut a heart using a heart die from Lawn Fawn. The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment is from an old Studio G $1 bin set that I have had forever. Both the heart and the sentiment are popped up on some foam tape for a little bit more dimension.

I purchased this texture paste back before Christmas and I have been playing around with it now and then, and I really like it! It is so easy to work with and the finished look is just so cool!

Please head on over and check out the Perfectly Created Chaos blog to see the beautiful projects from the rest of the team. I do hope you'll join the fun and play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!

  2. I like your textured hearts. Thee little ones set of the red one perfectly. I do have some texture pastes but not really played around with them. Too many other ideas and embellishments that's the problem! hugs ValeryAnne (fellow DT member).
