Use Your Stuff #313 - Washi Tape

Hello and Happy Monday! I hope you had a good weekend and are ready for the new week.

Use Your Stuff has a new challenge posted today and this week we are challenging you to pull out that washi tape and use at least two different washi tapes on your project.

Washi tape is a much-neglected supply in my stash. I cannot resist all the pretty washi rolls, in fact, I have purchased four rolls in the last two weeks, but I rarely use it on my projects, so I was happy to see this week's challenge.

For my card, I took two different washi tape rolls, put them side by side on a piece of white cardstock, and punched several circles from the strip. I also added two rows of the green side by side on some white cardstock to be the mat of my sentiment.

I think I am going to make it a goal of mine to pull five washi tape rolls and leave them on my desk to try to use up throughout the month. Maybe then I will start to make a dent in my stash!

Head on over to Use Your Stuff to see how the rest of the design team used washi tape on their projects. We would love to see how you use your washi!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day!

  1. Great technique idea for using supplies like washi tapes! I like how you rotated the circles throughout the layout because it makes it appear like they are from different patterned papers. And I like how you used 2 rows wide of the mint green tape to get the depth you needed for the sentiment background. Keep on creating resourcefully, Lori!
