I am so excited to be continuing with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge design team in 2019! We are starting the year off with a fun inspiration kit from Felicity Jane - the Hannah Collection - and our usual blog hop/reveal:
Such a fun collection to counterfeit! The colors - reds, pinks, blues, black and white, wood grain...so much fun - and that is exactly what I based my kit on - the colors.
And here is my kit - Lots to Love:
My kit contains a lot of red, pink, and blue in it. They are not exactly like the colors in the inspiration kit, but they are close and I am really excited to start using this kit.
Here is a closer look at the papers:
With the pinks and reds and blue in the inspiration kit, I went right to my Echo Park collections. I pulled several papers from different Echo Park collections and then came upon the "Valentine" collection from Bella Blvd. Once again, it had a lot of the pinks and reds and black and white papers.
I did add a random piece of yellow to my kit - a couple of my papers have yellow in them so I thought it would be a good idea to have a little showing of it in my kit.
Most of the "B" sides of these papers will work, too.
As for the patterns - I have a few florals, diagonal stripes, a triangle patterned paper in blue, a graph paper, and a few others that I couldn't resist adding to my kit.
Here are the cardstock and brown papers I have chosen - a cream, black, white, brown dot, brown solid, and a wood grain:
I had a few scraps from a couple of the collections that I used in my kit, so I added them in hopes of getting them used up.
Here are the alphas and word stickers that I have pulled:
Since I am lacking in the die cut department, I added in quite a few stamp sets. I'm wanting to use my stamps more this year, so maybe this will be a good start on that!
The inspiration kit has a few tags, so I added my tag dies, some washi tape, and some gold stickers. The brads were an afterthought, but I think I can get a few of them used up.
Here is the complete blog hop line up. Be sure to check out all of the design team blogs and see their fun kits. We would love to see your kits, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I will be back soon with another project to share with you!
Oh the stamp selection is soooo fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere is definitely “lots to love” in your sumptuous kit. I went with a little warmer colorway, too, plus added a sheet of yellow. Great creative minds think alike!
ReplyDeleteYou have my attention with all the reds and pinks. Love your kit - and am so impressed you included so many stamps. I need to use my stamps more this year. I am looking forward to what you create.
ReplyDeleteI love that you used deeper color tones from the inspiration kit and I was definitely thinking "Valentine's Day" and smiled when you mentioned it in your description. This is such a pretty kit!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and can see your kit working with both Christmas or Valentine themes. Have fun with all those stamps.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting. I hadn't noticed the little bits of red. Re-balancing the aouunt of each colour really makes the kit look so different, but I love it!
ReplyDeleteLovely kit with lots of options. Have fun stamping.
ReplyDeleteAwesome kit Lori and love your direction of going from the inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteSo much good stuff to play w/! Looking forward to your projects!
ReplyDeleteLori: what a unique twist to go true red instead of burgundy! But it works terrifically with all the papers and embellishments you've gathered together! Can't wait to see more layouts and cards!
