Hello, hello! Happy Saturday to you! I hope that you are having a good weekend.
Are you ready for the April edition of TN Time With Lisa & Lori? Let's get to it! This is a just-for-fun monthly challenge that starts on the 10th of each month and ends on the 9th of the following month at midnight CST. If you complete my random challenge for the month - link your TN, bullet journal, or planner spread below. If you complete just Lisa's sketch challenge, link up over on her blog - My Creative Endeavors.
Here is my April challenge:
For April I am challenging you to use the color pink on your layout - how much or how little is up to you - and to use a stamp. This could be something as simple as a date stamp.
Here is the sketch that Lisa has created for us to use:
Here is my layout:
To satisfy my part of the challenge - you can find pink - in a few different shades - in the patterned paper and for the stamp portion, I used a date stamp, a circle label stamp, and an ink splatter stamp. Everything on this layout came from my April Great Stash Bash kit except the enamel hearts.
Abby sent this photo to me last April. We were just in the beginning stages of the pandemic and stay-at-home orders. Abby and Ada were doing about all that they could - playing outside in their backyard and sharing sweet photos with me!
Here are a couple of close-ups:
I am really liking to use this ink splatter stamp from Close To My Heart (D1660 - Ink Blots). It just gives a little something extra to the background.
I found this little chipboard journaling spot on one of the CTMH chipboard sheets that I had included in my kit and it was perfect to hold my little bit of journaling. I'm sure this photo will show up again in my 'pandemic' album and I plan to go into more detail in it, so I wasn't too worried about getting a lot of journaling on this spread. I've said it before - my TN's are mostly just for me and the photos that I really love. The deeper stories will be documented in other places.
Be sure to stop by Lisa's blog to see her beautiful spread. I hope you have some time to play along with us!
