Hello, hello! How is your Monday going? I can't believe the weekend went so fast! It's looking like it's going to be another hot day around here - upper 80's in the middle of October...that's crazy!
Today is Make It Monday over at
The Memory Nest, and do we have a fun sketch for you! I was so excited when I first saw this sketch - I knew it would be a fun one to work with!
Abby sent me this photo of Ada back in September. Ada has never been much of a hat girl, but when she saw this Paw Patrol hat she had to have it! Abby said on this Saturday they were getting ready to go to Springfield and Ada picked out her own outfit. Of course the hat was included! Now we're talking it's the middle of September here, when it's still pretty hot outside. Abby said she wore it all morning and until they got to Springfield, then she said her head was itchy, and took it off!
I went with the pinks and grays to match her outfit, and added in a few extra layers under the photo. I really wanted the title to be - The girl's got style - but the alphas just weren't there for it! The journaling is on the tag underneath the photo.
Head on over to
The Memory Nest to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the team. I look forward to seeing what you create with this fun sketch!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be back a little later with another project to share with you!
Great colour combo! Fabulous page Lori!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Such wonderful colors and extra details!
ReplyDeleteAwww she sure is cute :) a wonderful layout too
ReplyDeleteThe pinks and greys are just perfect together and echo the photo colours beautifully. Love the stack of papers behind the photo, a really modern take on the sketch.
ReplyDeleteI love this! I fell in love w/ the style of this layout the moment I saw it: the cluster of papers underneath the photo along w/ all the doodling (on the paper cluster and the larger triangles at the bottom) and the fact that you were still able to stick to the sketch! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove that layout - all those little layers tucked behind the photo tie in so beautifully with the bottom on the page. Brilliant!!
