Hello, everyone! Happy Monday to you! I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and that you were able to spend some time with the ones you love. All the kids were over and we had a great day filled with delicious food and fun.
Today I am sharing the project that I created for Heart's Quest Challenge Blog Color Heart #10 - which is to use at least one green heart and at least one white heart. I have created a Christmas card all ready to be sent out this week!
For this card, I used Crate Paper's Busy Sidewalks 6x8 paper pad and sticker sheet. When I saw those cute little squirrels on the sticker sheet I knew I wanted to use them on a card for Miss Ada. To satisfy the challenge, I have added a (very dark) green heart - it looks black but it really is green - a white heart, and I threw in a red heart just to make an odd number.
Here is a close-up of those cute little squirrels and the hearts:
I added a gold bow sticker to the top of the circle to fill in some of that empty space and the sentiment is from one of the cut-apart papers. I love how this turned out and I know Ada will love it, too.
I hope you have a chance to play along with us - I would love to see your take on the challenge, too! Remember - your project can be any format - a card, a scrapbook layout, a traveler's notebook layout, a tag, a bookmark, etc., and the deadline to enter is December 13th at 12:30 AM CST.
Be sure to head on over to the Heart's Quest Challenge Blog to read all about the challenge and to see the projects from the rest of the team.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a lovely day!
What a super cute card!
