Sketch N Scrap #154 - Fair Fun

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog Hop, please scroll down or go here.

We have the first sketch of the month up at Sketch N Scrap today. I love the three-photo sketch that Lisa has created for us to use:

I pulled out these photos of Ada at the fair last year. They aren't the best quality, but about as good as you can get when you're on an amusement park ride, and they aren't quite as dark in person as they are in the photo.

I'm getting off to a good start with using my Counterfeit Kit for June already! You can read all about it here. The striped paper and the green dot paper are from my "add-on" kit and that pink piece of paper has been hanging out in my stash since 2002! I am so happy to finally put it to use - or at least a part of it!

I used Echo Park's - Summer Dreams - sticker sheet for my embellishments. The colors in it were a pretty good match to the Dear Lizzy - Happy Place - papers. That's the one thing I love about having a kit already put together - it just makes scrapping go so much quicker. Everything is already within arms reach and there's no searching for embellishments or paper - which for me can take a bit of time!

Here's a couple of close-ups of my embellishment clusters. I decided to put my star punch to work and scatter the stars about instead of using something like enamel dots, and I love the results.

Be sure to head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see the beautiful creations from the rest of the design team. I can't wait to see what you create with this sketch!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be back soon with another project to share with you!
