52 Favorites Week 2 Meets TN Time With Lisa & Lori

Hello, everyone! Happy Saturday to you! After a few days of bitterly cold temperatures, we are now enjoying springlike weather! Wednesday our high was 18 and this weekend we're looking at upper 50's and 60's...crazy weather for sure. I must say, I like the warmer temperatures so much more! I guess since today is groundhog day we will see if we'll have an early spring or 6 more weeks of winter. You know which one I am hoping for!

I thought I would pop in here really quickly today and share my Week 2 layout in my 52 Favorites Traveler's Notebook and remind you all that our very first - TN Time With Lisa & Lori - challenge is still going on! You have until Saturday, February 9th to play along.

My first challenge to you is to use at least three patterned papers on your TN, planner, or bullet journal layout, and for my layout today I have used three patterned papers:

I am really enjoying working on my 52 Favorites TN. I think it is making me more aware of what's going on around me each and every day. Things that I might not generally take a photo of, I now find myself snapping a photo in case I want to use that story/moment for my weekly favorite. And that is helping me out in my Project Life album, too! It gives me plenty of photos and stories that I might not necessarily have thought to document. I definitely love those little everyday moments!

My favorite photo/story of Week 2 is this one of Ada and Scott getting ready to play a video game. I took a cue from the "fav part of the day" die cut and talked about how Wednesday evening after we eat supper is both Scott's and Ada's favorite time. That is when the gameplay begins - whether it is video games, board games, or a game of hide n seek - they are playing something! I hope that this weekly tradition of Abby and Ada staying down on Wednesdays for supper lasts once Ada starts school in the fall. Abby says they will still stay down so that we can get a weekly visit in...here's hoping!
