Happy (Inter)National Scrapbook Day With Sketch N Scrap

Hello, everyone! Happy (Inter)National Scrapbook Day! Do you have lots of scrappy plans today? I will be checking out a few of the challenges online, but if I stay online too long I get overwhelmed with it all and end up not scrapping at all!

In honor of National Scrapbook Day, Sketch N Scrap has a fun new sketch posted today. Lisa has created a great multi-photo sketch for this special day:

I am finally getting these photos of Ada when she was almost 4 months old scrapped! The colors in this photo were so bright, and the background so busy, I think that was holding me back! I finally decided to turn them to black and white and get them scrapped.

She loved her time on the floor with this activity mat. The butterfly was always the one that would catch her eye and she would coo and talk to it the whole time. The unicorn and dragonfly - not so much! The butterfly was definitely her favorite!

I have used Simple Stories - Dream Big - collection for this layout. Actually, the pink triangle paper is from another one of their collections...maybe "So Fancy"...I think that's the name! I'm a little sad because I have used almost all of this collection up - I think I have 2 full sheets left - but it does feel good to get it used instead of it hanging out in my stash for a while!

In my embellishments, I added a unicorn die cut since the activity gym had one on it and a couple of butterflies - since that is what Ada was so enamored with! Here are a couple of close-ups:

Don't forget - our 7th Birthday Bash Bingo is going on now in a closed group on Facebook. You can join the fun by going here. We would love to see you playing along with us!

Be sure to check out Sketch N Scrap to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the design team.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a scrappy day!
