Tuesday Morning Sketches #502

Good Tuesday morning! I hope that your week is off to a good start.

It is time for a new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. Debbie has created a great sketch for us to work with this week:

I've been trying to work through my scraps box to get some of them used up and when I came across the grey/green/white dot paper, I thought I would go with a bit of a masculine feel for my card.

I stamped the party hats on a scrap of green paper and die cut them for the trio of embellishments shown on the sketch. I added the sentiment in place of the twine. This card came together so quickly!

Head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches to see the beautiful cards from the design team. I hope you find some time to create with us this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a great day!

  1. This is so darn perfect Lori!! I love the colors and that you used the little hats in the circle places!

  2. Fun birthday card! And yay for using scraps!

  3. Using party hats was a fun idea and I like how you added the sentiment.

  4. Really fun birthday card - great for anyone! I like the color combo, too. Actually saw this color green and black on a house and it looked really elegant.
