Let's Go On An Adventure - Sketch N Scrap's Sketch #260

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday to you! I hope that you have had a good week and that you are looking forward to the weekend. We don't have any plans so far but that can always change. No plans just mean that I will be spending time in my scrap room! That sounds like a good plan to me!

Today I am sharing the layout that I created using Sketch N Scrap's November 1st sketch. Here is a look at the sketch:

I love a good multi-photo sketch! This is what I came up with:

For this layout, I have used my Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash November kit which is made up completely of Simple Stories' Into the Wild collection. I have big plans of using up the majority of my kit this month so you will be seeing a few zoo layouts! We took Shane and Ada to the zoo a couple of weeks ago and had so much fun. I think that is the first time we have gone in the fall and we got to see quite a few animals that we normally don't get to see when we go in the summer because it is too hot.

I bought the Into the Wild collection when it first came out back in the summer and I decided to scrap the photos while the memories are still fresh in my mind. I do think that I am going to make a companion page for this layout and turn it into a double page. That means I may have to order another sheet or two of paper to finish it out. I'm going to try to make it work with my scraps, but I am just not sure I can do it with what I have left.

Here are a couple of close-ups:

For now, the 3x4 card that says "let's go on an adventure" is serving as my title. Once I make the companion page I will see if it needs more of a title or if this will suffice.

I popped up the cute little iguana on some foam tape for a little dimension and kept this cluster to a minimum. Having the busier patterned paper behind that area tended to make things disappear.

The only thing wrong with this collection is the majority of the animals face the same way. That makes it a little difficult to add them to both sides of the layout without some of them looking off the page. That may not bug anyone else but it bugs me! I think this cluster turned out alright!

Stay tuned for more zoo layouts this month! The pictures I took that day were not the greatest but they are getting scrapped anyway!

Be sure to check out Sketch N Scrap for more inspiration using this sketch.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
