Hello, everyone! Happy Monday to you! We are enjoying a long holiday weekend here in the US, and after the wild weather we had this weekend, we needed an extra day!
We have a great way to get the week started with a fun blog hop at
Use Your Stuff, so let's get to it!
Welcome to the

Hop along with us for a chance to win this great prize pack:

Heather's beautiful blog. If not, you may want to start back at the beginning at the Use Your Stuff blog and go from there. I also have a list of all of the participants at the end of this post.
Today, I have created a fun summertime layout of two of my kiddos when they were little ones!
I can't believe that this photo is 16 years old and never been scrapped! We used to go to the lake about once a month in the summer when the kids were little, to swim and have a picnic, and occasionally camp out overnight. Now we're lucky if we go once a year! So many fun memories from these little trips!
I had these papers from a few different Echo Park collections on my desk from a project I will be sharing a little later this week, and I decided to try and get as many of the scraps used up on this layout instead of putting them in my scrap pile. I'm happy to say that I used up what was left of the blue and the yellow, and I only have a little piece of the green left!
I decided to add a few paint splatters to my layout to add in a little more of the green. Just as is my luck, I smeared a couple of the splatters before they were dry. I almost tore the whole layout apart to start over, but I decided to embrace the imperfections and just go with it. My family will not care that there are a couple of smeared dots, so why should I stress over it?
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Now, hop on over to
Tina's blog to see what she has created for you today!
