Counterfeit Kit Challenge - Forgery on the Fourth

Hello, everyone! Good Tuesday morning to you! Today is the first day back to the old routine after a long weekend. That's always hard but on the bright side, that means it's a short week!

Today is the fourth and that means it's time for "Forgery on the Fourth" at Counterfeit Kit Challenge. There are so many fun things in the inspiration kit that you can forge and I thought I would make a few to add to my kit. Here's a look at the inspiration kit (you can see close-up photos over on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog:

I really liked the look of the wood word stickers but I didn't really have any phrase stamps to fit the "fall" feel of the kit, so I pulled out my trimmer, the word stickers that I added to my kit, and some wood grain paper scraps and went to work.

Here is the finished product:

I also pulled some leaf stamps, label stamps, and a coffee cup stamp, and my bow dies to make my own embellishments to add to my kit.

And this is what I came up with:

I now have some leaves, labels, and coffee cups ready to be fussy cut and added to a project.

I also am in love with those cute little fall bows! I made those with the scraps from the 6x6 paper pads that I had added to my kit. A great way to get some scraps used up!

Head on over to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog to see the forgeries from the other design team members. We would love to see what you create this month, so be sure to link up!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I will be back soon with another project for you!
