Counterfeit Kit Challenge May Kit Reveal & Blog Hop

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Sketch N Scrap reveal, please scroll on down.

It's time for a new inspiration kit today at Counterfeit Kit Challenge and we are kicking things off with a blog hop! Master Forger Leslie has picked the March 2020 Echo Park/Carta Bella - Oh Happy Day kit for our inspiration. Here is a look at the inspiration kit:

Isn't that kit just full of fun summery papers and embellishments?! I love it!

Here is the kit that I have put together. I think I will call it "Bring on Summer!":

I had a few of the papers from the "Oh Happy Day" collection so that is where I started my kit. They are the first row of papers in the photo below. From there I did things a little different than I normally do - I stuck with Echo Park for all of the papers and embellishments in my kit.

The second row has papers from the "Good Day Sunshine" collection. The collection kit has a large floral on a navy background, a mint green gingham, a paper with lemons on it, and the 3x4 cut apart cards. All of these can be found in my papers. The only thing that the inspiration kit did not have - and that I found a little odd - was a good plain striped paper, so I added it in my own kit because I "need" a stripe!

Finally, my last row of papers is from the "Best Summer Ever" collection. I thought the large floral on the mint green was a good substitute for the large floral in the inspiration kit. I also added a mint green stripe, a yellow gingham - you can never have too many ginghams no matter the color - a multi-colored all over pattern, an ice cream paper - hats and barrels of flowers in an all-over pattern are not really my scrappy thing - another multi-colored stripe, and more 3x4 cut apart cards.

For my embellishments, I pulled all of the 12x12 sticker sheets and chipboard stickers from each of the collections:

I also added in the die-cut packs from each collection, some brads, enamel dots, wood veneer, and I carried over some of the chipboard pieces from last months kit that I never had a chance to use:

I also added in a few small alpha sticker sheets.

There you have it - my kit full of summer and I cannot wait to start using it!

Be sure to check out the kits from the rest of the design team. Here is the complete blog hop list:
