Sketch N Scrap #209 - Sweet Baby Boy

Hello, everyone!  Happy Tuesday to you all! I hope that your week is off to a good start. We are enjoying some cooler weather and I am loving being able to have the windows open.

How can it already be the middle of September? Time, for me, is just seeming to fly by! Anyway, the middle of the month means a new sketch challenge at Sketch N Scrap today. Sketch artist Lisa has created a fun 2-photo sketch for us to play with:

And here is my layout:

I have had these photos of Shane when he was a baby, sitting out on my desk for quite a while. This sketch was just what I needed to get them scrapped. There's no special story to go along with them - he was just being cute sitting in his car seat - but I couldn't resist scrapping them.

I used Echo Park's Hello Baby - It's a Boy collection for my layout. I love this cute collection and bought it last year specifically to get baby photos of my boys scrapped.

Here are a few close-ups:

For the title, I die cut "sweet baby" with a metal alpha die that I picked up at an Echo Park sale earlier this year. I absolutely love the font. I paired it with the chipboard banner pieces that spell out boy and I love the way it turned out.

Be sure to stop by Sketch N Scrap to see how the rest of the design team took on the challenge. I hope you have some time to play along with us this month!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great day!
