Week 36/2019 - The ScrapRoom Shots of Life Kit

Hello again! I am back with my second post of the day. If you are looking for my Scrap Our Stash reveal, please scroll on down.

Today I am sharing my Week 36/2019 spread using the September portion of the Shots of Life kit from The ScrapRoom. I know I always say this - but the September/October Shots of Life kit has so many great pieces in it and I know I will be putting them to use soon!

Here's a look at the Shots of Life Kit:

For my layout today I have used the Amy Tangerine Late Afternoon cut apart cards and heart stickers, and Elle's Studio labels and acrylic stars from the kit.

Here is the left side of the spread:

This side of the layout is just random little bits from the week - a selfie of me and Shane before we went shopping, crafty goodies, a selfie of Matthew with his name tag for the 2019/2020 year, Shane's current obsession, and Ada on her very first early out day ever! I had more pictures that I wanted to use to tell a couple of stories so on this side I have used two flip-flap pockets - which you will see better in the close-ups below:

For my title card, I used the backside of the cut apart paper. I fussy cut the flowers from another one of the cut apart cards and used some old Amy Tangerine alphas that I had in my stash. The colors matched perfectly. I also added a couple of word phrase stickers.

This shows the traveler's notebooks that I received from Felicity Jane and Shane's latest obsession - these white tile letters. In these photos, he has three containers...I won't even say how many he has now that it's been a year later! I'm sure you'll be seeing updates along the way! This is where I used one of my flip-flaps - I had too much journaling that I wanted to add!

These next photos show Matthew's selfie and the journaling card with the story behind it - and more crafty goodies:

I journaled directly on this photo of the enormous box that I got from Michaels with two rolls of cross stitch fabric at the bottom. Surely they could have found a better box. This is where the second flip-flap came in:

When you flip it up you see the box filled with air packs and then the photo with the fabric.

The last set of photos is of Ada's very first early out day. They get out at 12:45 the first Wednesday of every month and this was her first!

The right side of the spread is all about Grandparent's Day at school. With Shane it is hard for both Scott and me to attend certain functions - especially school functions, so we asked Ada which one of us she would rather have come to her program and, of course, she picked Pops! Scott was very good and took a ton of photos for me!

Here are a few close-ups of Ada and Pops at Grandparent's Day:

And the last pocket on the spread:

When Abby and Ada went shopping on Saturday they picked up the rest of Ada's Halloween costume. When they got home they tried it all on and Abby was kind enough to send me these photos. They are all ready for Halloween!

Be sure to check out The ScrapRoom's blog for more inspiration every day of the week!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be right back with one more post to share!
