Sketch N Scrap #174 - Sweet Dreams

Hello, hello! Happy Monday and Happy April 1st! It's going to be a busy day around here today, so let's go ahead and get started!

The new month means a new sketch is posted today at Sketch N Scrap. Lisa is getting us started this month with a fantastic 2-photo sketch:

And here is what I came up with:

I was going through some older photos and came across these super sweet photos of Ada when she was just 4 months old. Just look at that sweet little face! She never was one to require a lot of sleep and naptime seemed to only last a few minutes - and it never failed - if she fell asleep while I was holding her she would wake right up when I laid her down, so on days like this one where she fell asleep in her swing...you better believe she slept in her swing until she woke up!

The colors in the photos were very bright and didn't really go together so I turned the photos to black and white. On a recent trip to Scrapbook Generation, I came across these super cute papers from Photo Play's - Snuggle Up Girl - collection and they were perfect for these photos.

I added a tag to my bottom embellishment cluster that will hold some hidden journaling. I could have added my journaling to where it's called for on the sketch but I did not want to cover up any of that cute paper!

Here are a couple of close-ups:

Going through those older photos of Ada as a baby really got me wanting to get more of her baby photos scrapped. Well, that and the fact that she does start school this fall - I think it's about time!

Head on over to Sketch N Scrap to see the beautiful layouts from the rest of the design team. I would love to see your take on the sketch, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will be right back with another project to share with you!
