The Paper Girls Challenge #195 - Glitter

Hello, everyone! Happy Monday to you! I hope that you had a good weekend and are ready for the new week. Hubby is on vacation for the next couple of weeks so we are starting off the week with a lazy day!

I am so excited to share that I am joining The Paper Girls Challenge Blog Design Team! This is such a fun challenge blog with new challenges every first and third Monday of the month - and any paper project is welcome - so whether you are a scrapbooker, card maker, or you do it all, you should check it out!

This week's challenge is to use glitter on your project. I always love the look of glitter - especially glitter paper - I just don't always remember to use it, and when I do, it is usually gold or silver glitter. I have several 6x8 paper pads with colored glitter paper in them and I decided I would challenge myself to use a color other than silver or gold. Although, a little bit of silver made it on my card!

I have paired a green glitter paper with the Simple Stories "Dream Big" collection for this card that I made for my granddaughter. All I have left of this collection are scraps, but I was able to pull enough together for this card and I love how it turned out!

I matted the circle and framed the card with the green glitter paper and punched a few green and silver glitter stars to sprinkle around the sentiment. I also popped the little fairy sticker up with some foam tape.

Ada loves to get happy mail and I know this card will bring a smile to her face!

Be sure to stop by The Paper Girls Challenge Blog to see how the rest of the design team took on the challenge. I hope you join in with us - I would love to see your take on the glitter challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great day!
