Tuesday Morning Sketches #496

Hello, everyone! Happy Tuesday to you! I hope your week is off to a great start.

It's time for a great new sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches today. This week, we're not giving a physical prize.  We will be giving away like a guest spot!  If you're the randomly selected winner you can join our design team for TMS #499.  That gives you a couple of weeks. Here is this week's sketch - courtesy of Melissa and it's another fun one!

I decided to have a look through my scraps box before I started this card. It's a bit on the overflowing side, and I would like to work on getting some of the scraps used before I add too much more to it.

I found these three scraps that worked well together and went to work.  I think it's great that they are all from different companies and all from different years - yet they look like they could have been in the same collection. That pink piece of paper is probably at least 10 years old, in fact, it may be closer to 15 years old, and the striped paper is from Echo Park - 2014. It makes me a happy girl to get them used!

The sentiment is from a Bo Bunny stamp set - Positive Vibes. This set has a lot of fun and different sentiments in it.

This is one of those sketches I can see myself using again and again!

Be sure to stop by the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog to see the beautiful cards from the rest of the design team. I would love to see your take on the sketch, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a wonderful day!

Yay for using scraps! I'm working on using mine up, too, though that might take years! :D

  4. Great use of scraps - I tend to throw them away, especially when they've been around for awhile. I love this card, it's bright and cheery and perfect for a notecard.
