Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #142

Hello, hello! We have made it to the middle of the week and the weekend will be here before we know it.

It's time for the last card sketch of the month at Sketch N Scrap and Lisa has created a super fun sketch for us to work with. I already know I will be using this sketch again really soon!

I've had this "Dream Big" collection from Simple Stories out on my desk for a while and I thought I would use up a few more of the scraps from it. My granddaughter is going to get her shots for school tomorrow and I thought the - Be Brave - Be Kind - Be Silly sentiment would make for a good card for her - with maybe a little something in it for a treat after her shots!

I kept to the sketch on this one - because I love it! The only thing I did a little different was to move the sentiment strip down to the bottom of the focal panel - and that was out of necessity! I hadn't planned to, but I added a piece of foam to that panel and when I glued it to the card front I realized that my cut was not straight - at all - and there was no pulling it back up without ripping the card. I moved the sentiment strip down to cover up that little boo-boo and I like it that way just as much.

Be sure to stop by Sketch N Scrap to see the fabulous cards from the rest of the design team using this sketch. I hope you have some time to play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Have a wonderful day!
