Use Your Stuff #349 - Beautiful - Traveler's Notebook

Hello, everyone! Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a good weekend. We had a sleepover with Miss Ada on Friday night and it took the rest of the weekend for us to recover!

We have a new challenge today at Use Your Stuff and this week Heather is challenging us to use rainbows on our projects. This can be taken many different ways - actually rainbows on your papers/embellishments, in your photos, or maybe you want to use the colors of the rainbow.

I have created a traveler's notebook spread using rainbow colors and a rainbow die cut:

I cannot believe how much I love scrapping in a traveler's notebook! I usually don't take to changing things up in my scrapping much, but I can see me scrapping in this format from here on out - especially now that all the kids are grown, Ada will be going to school, and I won't be taking nearly as many photos - or maybe I should say the photos that I will be taking will be...different.

I have enjoyed doing my 52 favorites so much this year that I have decided to go back and scrap my 52 favorites from 2018. Which leads me to my spread. This photo of Ada from September 2018 has been in my "to scrap" pile for a while and when I went back and looked at the photos that I took that week - I think it was Week 38 - this one was definitely my favorite from the week!

I used Close To My Heart's - I Heart Us - papers and chipboard for my layout. I also used a puffy butterfly sticker from Elle's Studio, and stamps from Heidi Swapp and Citrus Twist.

Here are a couple of close-ups:

This spread also fits into my TN Time With Lisa & Lori challenge #2 - to scrap about something/someone that you love and to use at least one heart.

Head on over to Use Your Stuff to see the rainbow projects from the rest of the design team. I hope you have some time to play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great day!

  1. We both went w/ Traveler's Notebook Spreads this week! I haven't done one in a while and I had forgotten how much I like them...so I agree w/ your excitement of creating in them! Pretty spread! Love the puffy alphas and rainbow sticker and your outlining which I actually forgot to do this week, except for on the pocket card...I was tired when I created my layout!
